Many of our regular communications channels are unavailable to us due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To address this, we have increased the frequency of our Updates to enable us to share relevant information and keep you updated on current news, information and funding opportunities. Collation of detail regarding mature products and solutions which may help in our response to COVID-19

Thank you to those who have submitted offers of COVID-19 support from across the UK. To date, JSaRC have received over 250 responses which have been collated and directed towards the CCS process.

COVID-19 PPE Challenge

National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) are addressing the urgent need to understand the challenges faced by healthcare workers in protecting themselves against aerosol contamination. Further details and how to submit your challenge or solution can be found here.

Repurposing existing funding to address COVID-19

Recipients of existing UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) funding are invited to submit proposals to repurpose their current funding award to address research topics directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Further information is available here.

Phishing: how to report to the NCSC

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) have successfully launched its suspicious email reporting service (SERS). Discover how to report a potential phishing message to the NCSC here.

More than 3,000 extra officers join police in recruitment drive

Police ranks across England and Wales have been bolstered with an additional 3,005 officers since the government launched a major recruitment drive in September 2019. Further information is available here.
