Security and Policing 2020 – our most successful event yet!
Security and Policing 2020, the official Home Office event hosted by JSaRC, took place on 3-5 March 2020. Featuring over 300 exhibitors and 3,000 attendees, the very latest innovations, solutions and technology available in the security industry were on show. 700 international attendees came from all around the world, confirming the global scale of this essential must-attend event.
The 2020 event at a glance
The 2020 event in numbers:
- 323 companies exhibited
- 3,092 visitors attended the event over the three days
- 500 delegates attended the evening drinks reception
- 119 companies rebooked for 2021 event during the show
Visitor satisfaction results:
- 92% of visitors would recommend attending to a colleague
- 94% gained valuable knowledge to be implemented
- 88% identified suppliers of new technologies and services
Exhibitor satisfaction results:
- 80% would recommend exhibiting to other organisations
- 77% believed that exhibiting generated new business opportunities
- 75% thought their visibility increased to a relevant audience

Networking Opportunities
The exhibition provided valuable networking opportunities for suppliers to meet procurement decision-makers at the drinks reception, Thought Leadership Panel & Security Dinner, along with the Security Innovation Award ceremony.
Immersive experiences
Highlights of the show included two innovative ‘Immersive Experiences’, where JSaRC showcased the latest solutions and technology in aviation travel, crowded space security and knife crime prevention.

Fusion Forum and Step-Change Summit
New for 2020 was the Fusion Forum, which provided a platform for engaging and interactive presentations from an array of thought leaders, officials and industry specialists. A highlight of the day was the discussion between Sir Mark Sedwill and Suzannah Brecknell of Civil Service World, where Sir Mark shared his vision and insight into National Security challenges.
