Welcome to the latest Update from the Joint Security and Resilience Centre.
Many of our regular communications channels are unavailable to us due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To address this, we have increased the frequency of our Updates to enable us to share relevant information and keep you updated on current news, information and funding opportunities. We hope you find this useful.
COVID-19 Support for Businesses
Resources, advice and information to help UK businesses is available on Gov.uk. Specific advice includes information on small business grant funding and business interruption loans. This information is continually evolving so please check it regularly. Full details on the current support and guidance can be accessed here.
Collation of detail regarding mature products and solutions which may help in our response to COVID-19
Across Government we have received thousands of offers from suppliers across the UK to provide goods and services to the public sector during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. In order to ensure centralised co-ordination across Government, Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has developed a centralised Catalogue of Supplier Offers. Further details on this catalogue and how to register your company are available here.
Thank you to all those who sent in offers to JSaRC, which have now all been read and directed towards the CCS process. Further commercial routes are also available as follows:
Ventilators and ventilator components
Offers relating to the supply of NHS ventilators can be submitted directly to the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). If you have not already done so, please submit your information using this form.
Personal Protective Equipment
If you are offering Personal Protective Equipment or other goods or services to the NHS in any form please complete the survey here.

The G-Cloud 12 Framework is open for applications
The G-Cloud 12 Framework is now open for applications allowing suppliers to provide services to public sector buyers. Details on the benefits of G-Cloud and how to apply are available here.
CPNI Guidance on security during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Unscrupulous groups and individuals are seeking to exploit the difficult circumstances the UK is facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) would like to draw your attention to guidance products particularly relevant to maintaining a robust security posture during the current crisis. This includes advice on ways to approach security where organisations’ existing measures may be under strain. Further information and links to complementary guidance is available here.
Security and Policing 9-11 March 2021 – a date for your calendar
